Standort
Der luxuriöse Leuchtturm befindet sich auf der gleichnamigen Insel, die sich im westlichen Teil der Einfahrt zum Hafen von Vis befindet. Die Insel ist länglich, etwa 360 Meter lang und etwa 120 Meter breit. Es ist etwa 1200 Meter vom Zentrum von Vis entfernt. Der Bootssteg befindet sich auf der Westseite der Insel, von wo aus ein Wanderweg durch einen Kiefernwald zum Leuchtturm führt. Das 1873 erbaute Leuchtturmgebäude befindet sich im östlichen Teil der Insel. Von der geräumigen Steinterrasse, die den Leuchtturm umgibt, hat man einen schönen Blick auf das offene Meer und den Hafen von Vis. Eine besondere Attraktion sind die Sonnenaufgänge und Sonnenuntergänge.
Ein kleiner Strand befindet sich direkt unterhalb des Leuchtturms.
